Assembly and Outreach Programs

Assembly Programs: Puppet Shows

Barefoot Puppets

Barefoot Puppets offers workshops, residencies, and award-winning puppet shows that tour to theaters, schools, libraries, children's museums, and more. The performances bring to life world folktales, classic tales with a twist and original works with imaginative scripts that are well researched and fun. Shows include Galapagos George, a tale of a truly one-on-a-kind tortoise from the Galapagos Islands; Trickster Tales, which brings traditional stories from West Africa to life; Dreamtime, inspired by Aboriginal folktales; The Little Bread Hen, inspired by the classic tale of The Little Red Hen; Little Red & The Gingerbread Man, which combines two well-loved, classic tales to create an original, fun-filled romp through fairy tales; Beneath the Baobab Tree, where audiences encounter stories from Southeastern Africa; and Little by Little, which transports the audience to the world of the oak tree as they share a story of new growth in a forest.
