Antonio Rocha

Antonio Rocha brings a hands-on experience to the art forms of storytelling, miming, and acting through various educational programs. Elementary and middle schools students can enjoy Jungle Tales, a wild trip into the jungles of Brazil and Africa, with a myriad of fantastic sound effects. For elementary through high school students, Crossroads, tales from around the world, will entertain and address matters of communication, self esteem, conflict resolution and respect. Out of the Box is a physical comedy full of spellbinding myths, the absurdity and the poetics, appropriate for elementary through college students. Other programs include the Concert and The Tragedy of Daedalus. Mr. Rocha has performed at many venues such as The Singapore Festival of the Arts, Aruba Intl Dance Festival, The National Storytelling Festival, The Kennedy Center, The Smithsonian Institution, The National Geographic, The Tales of Graz in Austria, Dunya Festival in Holland as well as many other Storytelling Festivals and educational institutions around The USA. He is is a member of the Maine Arts Commission, The New England Foundation for the Arts and the National Storytelling Association.
