Assembly Programs: Music

Tom Breiding AmeriSon Poductions

Tom is a widely diverse artist, songwriter, and producer, and recording artist; a Pennsylvania Commonwealth Speaker with the PA Humanities Council, and a teaching artist at Gateway to the Arts in Pittsburgh. Tom offers school programs including assembly shows and workshops. School assembly programs like Western Pennsylvania: The Region That Built America and Unbroken Circle: Songs of the WV Coalfields deliver unique musical stories of life in Pittsburgh, Western Pennsylvania, and stories of life in the coalfields of West Virginia over the last century. The Bringing History to Life with a Song workshop will help students to write their own historically accurate folk songs within the structure of verse, chorus, and bridge, tailoring historical connections for your school's specific needs.
