Buck Wilde School Visits

Children's book author and filmmaker Buck Wilde is ready to share his adventures with your students. Christened the "bear whisperer” by David Attenborough, Wilde lives in the Alaska wilderness where he's learned to communicate with grizzly bears and wolves using body language. National Geographic, BBC and Discovery Channel rely on him to capture seldom-seen wildlife behavior for documentaries. Elementary school visits feature his latest children’s book, Three Sisters and the Wolf, as students learn about interconnected ecosystems and wildlife behavior. High school and middle school visits feature highlights from his documentaries, as students learn about filmmaking, photography, and bear safety. Visit activities include author readings and filmmaker stories.
