Three 18th-century homes and a modern Visitors Center offer groups the opportunity to experience what life was like 300 years ago. Groups can learn colonial games, write with quill pens, tour a historic house, and learn traditional campfire-building techniques. Visitors are encouraged to think about how life has changed and the ways chores, education, and leisure activities were different as they view live demonstrations of skills such as open-hearth cooking, spinning, weaving, and bread baking. The Historical Society also offers a come-to-you program, where in-character educators come to your location for a lesson and demonstration.
