Tyler Arboretum

 
Join us for a nature adventure! Tyler Arboretum offers a variety of hands-on educational experiences for schools, scouts and homeschool groups. Learn about plants, wildlife, and ecology through guided studies utilizing our woodland, meadow and aquatic habitats. Tyler Arboretum encompasses 650 acres of renowned plant collections, heritage and champion trees, historic buildings and 17 miles of hiking trails. Seasonal exhibits include tree houses, the Butterfly House and the Magical Path.

SCHOOLS 
Our standards-based educational programs allow students to investigate soil, get the buzz on pollinators, explore the native forest, learn about maple syrup production, and more. Students will experience nature through hands-on activities, where they can explore flowers, frogs, insects, and even learn about Lenape life. Programs are offered year-round. SCOUTS
Boy and Girl Scout programs allow troops to get outdoors and meet badge requirements. Programs focus on topics such as insects, flowers, animal habitats, trees, letterboxing, maple sugaring and more. Night hikes and campfire programs are available. Inquire about working with the Arboretum to complete Gold Award or Eagle Scout projects. Programs are offered year-round.
