Center for Architecture

Through a variety of interactive programs, hands-on demonstrations, walking tours, and special site visits, the Center helps groups learn about the world of architecture and design. Activities range from art-based projects to designing skyscrapers, creating 3D models, and learning how to ‘read’ buildings for clues about design and function. Sketch architectural elements using the Center’s interactive slide shows or while on a neighborhood walk in New York City! Programs will help foster an ability to analyze information and propose creative design solutions for real world problems.
