New Jersey

Supreme Court of New Jersey

The New Jersey Supreme Court is the highest appellate court in NJ, composed of a chief justice and six associate justices. Groups can go on a tour of the Justice Complex, which houses the Supreme Court, the appellate court, or the administrative office of the courts. During a field trip, students scouts, and campers will engage in their own mock trial, talk with a judge, and, if time permits, hear another speaker talk about the importance of the Supreme Court, and how it helps the people of New Jersey and protects their rights as citizens.
