Toshiba America Foundation Grants

The Toshiba America Foundation strives to promote math and science education in U.S. schools. The foundation funds project ideas and materials necessary for teacher to innovate math and science curriculums for students. Examples of grants awarded to schools around the U.S. include “Living in the 21stC” where students looked at the future of transportation and housing, “Exploring Robotics” where students explored the process of designing, programming, and building their own robots, and “All About Architecture” where students studied how the people interact with their built environment. Teachers are encouraged to call the foundation to discuss their project proposal before applying.
