The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts

The Kimmel Center Education Program offers exciting Performing Arts Classes and Student Matinees for children in grades 5-12. Educators and students of all subjects may attend any or all of the 50-minute classes including a tour of the Kimmel Center. Classes stimulate student creativity through engaging and interactive lessons; Dance, Theater Arts, Music, Multi-Cultural Performing Arts. Matinees allow students to experience a performance and participate in a conversation about the works and the artists who present them, such as Philadanco. Matinees are approx. 1 hour and include program materials provided in advance of the concert.
