Monmouth Battlefield State Park
The site of one of the largest battles of the American Revolution, Monmouth Battlefield State Park endeavors to preserve a rural 18th-century landscape of hilly farmland and hedgerows, a restored farmhouse, and miles of hiking and horse riding trails. Visitors can enjoy a Visitor Center, 25 miles of old trails, wayside exhibits that explain the battle, and many opportunities to see wildlife. Each year, the Park reenacts the Battle of Monmouth in late June.
