Monmouth Battlefield State Park

The Monmouth Battlefield State Park is located on the site where one of the largest battles of the American Revolution took place. The park endeavors to preserve the rural 18th-century landscape of hilly farmland and hedgerows, a restored Revolutionary War farmhouse, and miles of hiking and horse riding trails. The Battle of Monmouth program begins with a film about the historic battle and a tour of the museum, and then lets groups take part in a musket or cannon drill, go on a hike, and visit a restored farmhouse, while about life during the war. The Lenape program includes a hands-on exploration of artifacts, an interactive talk, and craft activities.
