The Common Ground Urban Farming & Environmental Education Center provides learning experiences on the farm and in the forest. Farm tours will show students the exciting changes of spring and fall. They can meet the goats and sheep, visit the chicken yard, try foods from the garden, see the harvest, and more. Other unique program activities include investigating types of soil, tracing pizza from farm to to dinner table, observing the journey of an egg to chick, maple sugaring, and finger-spinning wool and creating yarn to take home. A variety of themed forest hikes are also available.
