Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden

Students and scouts can enjoy many programs that focus on plants, art, and science. Young visitors can hear a story at the garden and use their detective skills to study pollinators at work, colors, the life stages of animals and insects, and plant parts. Older visitors can learn about the garden’s different ecosystems, habitats, and animal populations. Activities will introduce groups to scientific methods and data: collect pond samples, compare flowers under a microscope, work together and solve problems with simple machines, and much more. Self-guided garden tours available 3 weeks in advance. Homeschool days available.
