Museum of Life and Science

Formerly the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science and the NC Children's Museum, the Museum of Life and Science provides a series of new adventures for groups on its 84 acres. The Museum of Life and Science includes a two-story science center, one of the largest butterfly conservatories on the East Coast, and beautifully landscaped outdoor animal exhibits. Groups will fascinate themselves with the museum’s indoor and outdoor exhibits, which feature a sound garden, several interactive labs, and more than 60 other species of live animals. Outreach programs and field trip activities at the museum focus on STEM, life science, space, and more.
