Chimney Rock State Park

Located in Chimney Rock Village near Lake Lure in the North Carolina Mountains, Chimney Rock features scenic views, hiking trails, rock climbing, a 404-foot waterfall, and more. This isn’t just a park, it’s a 996-acre living classroom. Groups will enjoy the Park’s trails where they’ll find resident and migrant birds, wildflowers, indigenous plants and hardwood trees. Group activities can be customized to include naturalist-led guided hikes to discover the Park’s unique history, geology, and flora and fauna or interactive, hands-on educational programs that focus on topics such as insects, raptors, forests and animal adaptations and characteristics.
