Cylburn Arboretum

The Cylburn Arboretum offers a wide range of educational programs for all ages, with a special emphasis on providing nature education to city children. Buildings & Facilities include a summer home mansion built during the Civil War, the Visitor & Education Center, the Nature Museum with natural history displays, the Greenhouse Complex & Classrooms devoted to educational programs, and the Aquaponics Project that explores the potential of aquaponics for raising edible plants and fish. Students can Learn about nature, grow their own gardens, create natural holiday decorations, or dye eggs with natural materials. A gardens map, tree and shrub map, and trail map are available for self-guided tours.
