Howard County Center of African American Culture

The Howard County Center of African American Culture's museum and library has over 1,000 artifacts memorabilia, and murals depicting African American life in rural Howard County and elsewhere over a span of 200 years. Groups can tour the art gallery featuring the works of African American artists, an exhibit of replicas representing inventions made by African Americans, a music collection of vintage and contemporary recordings, and more. Exhibits and educational programs focus on topics such as important figures in African-American history, war, stereotypes, and more.
