Port Discovery Children's Museum

Port Discovery Children’s Museum offers three floors of interactive, educational exhibits and ever-changing programs for children ages birth through 10. Exhibits include the BGE Studio Workshop where students have space to express their inner artist; Adventure Expeditions where they can travel back to 1920's Egypt for the adventure of a lifetime; Harvest Hill Barter where they can sell or trade products at a roadside market; Kick It Up! where they can get fit and healthy; KidWorks where they can climb, crawl, jump, and slide through the three-story urban treehouse; and more. During the guided programs students can make virtual cookies, act out hieroglyphics, learn how to make Egyptian Papyrus Paper, extract DNA from wheat germ, explore the exciting world of Japanese poetry, and participate in many other activities.
