National Inventors Hall of Fame and Museum

Formerly located in Akron, Ohio, the National Inventors Hall of Fame celebrates innovators that have changed the world through their technological achievements. In 2009, The National Inventors Hall of Fame moved to the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s campus in Virginia. Groups can see the Gallery of Icons and interact with the information kiosks to learn more about over 500 innovators, their inventions, and the importance of intellectual property protection in the United States. Groups can also enjoy inspirational films such as Extraordinary Innovations, shown at the National Hall of Fame’s Isaac Fleischmann Theatre. Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
