Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum

Visit the presidential library and museum dedicated to the 16th president of the United States. Museum exhibits feature a variety of items ranging from a full-scale representation of Lincoln’s childhood home to Mary Lincoln’s dresses. Across the street from the museum is the library, which contains books, papers, and artifacts relating to Lincoln’s life and the Civil War era. Groups will enjoy educational programs that involve hands-on learning through activities such as dress up in Mrs. Lincoln’s Attic and multimedia presentations in The Journeys exhibits. Groups can also enjoy the museum’s two short films—Ghosts of the Library and Lincoln’s Eyes.
