Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio

The Frank Lloyd Wright Trust offers tours and insights into Wright's life and career. Students will view Wright's first home where he experimented with the concepts that contained the seeds of his architectural philosophy. In his adjacent studio, they will discover how Wright and associates developed the Prairie style. Students can learn how artisans collaborated with architects to create some of Wright’s masterpieces, and about the careers of Wright’s notable colleagues. The Historic Neighborhood Walking Tour, through the Oak Park neighborhood, has the world’s largest collection of Wright-designed buildings, and lets groups examine the exteriors of architecturally significant buildings.
