Meigs Point Nature Center

Open year round for group visits and completely handicapped accessible. Themes include water quality, Native American experiences, and oceanography. Visitors can have an introduction to snakes and turtles, discover basic animal signs, learn the reasons for camouflage, compete against animals in physical activities, get up close to live specimens of Long Island Sound’s common invertebrates, identify wildlife and answer nature trivia, learn about the adaptations of local wildlife, and much more!
