
Connecticut’s largest shoreline and public beach park, offering over 2 miles of beach for youth groups to enjoy swimming, trails, strolling along the boardwalk, or relaxing in the sun and surf. The Park also features over 550 grassy campsites that are perfect for enjoying nature. Be sure and visit the Meigs Nature Center, located within the park, where groups can enjoy touch tanks as they pet and observe snakes, turtles, and other reptiles and amphibians. Groups can also go out to the salt marsh and explore the habitats of various animals.
