The Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum is dedicated to getting kids moving, thinking, discovering, and creating. Located in the heart of the historic Hudson Riverfront in Poughkeepsie, the museum’s exhibits span a wide range of subjects to provide children with the opportunity to develop foundational learning skills. Interactive programs include hands-on activities that introduce children to shapes and sounds, plant and animal life, moon phases, ecology, geography, and core science concepts. Field trip programs are based on grade level and focus on topics in such as constellations, magnetism, electricity, paleontology, engineering, chemistry, nutrition, and more.
