Flume Gorge & Visitor Center

Flume Gorge, discovered in 1808, is natural gorge that extends 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty in the White Mountains. Your class’s self-guided tour begins at the Flume Visitor’s Center, which contains a 20-minute movie showcasing beautiful Franconia Notch State Park. You can either walk through the Gorge or do a 2-mile loop around. The Visitor Center also houses the ticket office, information center, cafeteria, and gift shop. Before visiting Flume Gorge, be sure to go the website and print out the Flume Gorge Scavenger Hunt Guide, which will add some fun to your visit. For more information, call 603-745-8391.
