Delaware Seashore State Park

The Delaware Seashore State Park is six miles of ocean and bay shoreline that provides an iydillic backdrop for both education and recreation. Groups can learn by dissecting a squid, taking a walk through the marsh, combing the beach, and even cruising along the canal in a guided boat tour. Historical lessons explore the U.S. Life-Saving Service, which is the pre-cursor to the Coast Guard, and groups can engage in the “Life of a Surfman” program. The park is also a great place for on-the-water activities, such as kayaking and canoeing in the Indian River or Little Assawoman Bay.
