Berkshire East Mountain Resort is home to zip lining, whitewater rafting, Thunder Mountain Bike Park, an Aerial Adventure Park, and the Thunderbolt, North America’s longest mountain coaster. Students will have a blast exploring Western Massachusetts while soaring through the air on our zip lines or challenging the whitewater rapids of the Deerfield river. Make your field trip an educational experience in sustainable energy practices while learning about Berkshire East’s wind turbine, solar field, and the Deerfield River’s hydroelectric facilities.  All group members must sign a waiver before participating in any activities. SCOUTS
Scouts will learn team building and leadership skills while enjoying Berkshire East’s whitewater rafting trips which run from April to October. Scout groups can take a rafting trip on the Millers River (Class II, III, & IV), Fife Brook section of Deerfield River (Class I, II, & III) and the Monroe Bridge Section of the Deerfield river (Class III & IV). Scouts can also enjoy three zip line canopy tours and navigating the Children’s Tree House Trail and Aerial Adventure Park.
