Supreme Court of the State of New York

The Supreme Court of New York offers groups a unique opportunity to learn about the dynamics of the state’s court system with a guided tour of the court’s civil branch, and the chance to observe a real trial! Groups will engage in an educational talk about the structure of the court system and learn about all aspects of the jury selection process, court proceedings, and possible career opportunities in the courts. Depending on grade level, groups may have the option to speak with a judge, or to hold a mock trial where they roleplay as judges, lawyers, witnesses, and jurors.
