Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum connects people of today with 20,000 years of ongoing Native American cultural expression. The Museum embraces cultural diversity and encourages responsible environmental action based on respect for nature. Through exhibitions and programs, the Museum seeks to challenge and inspire all of us to improve the quality of our lives and our world. The Museum’s Medicine Woods Trail provides an opportunity to learn about the natural environment and some of the ways Natives historically used plants for food, medicine, dye, shelter and tools.

The top five languages spoken at home by people over the age of 5 are English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
