Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum

Learn all about Native American culture through the Museum’s exhibits and programs. A self-guided tour brochure and DVD kiosks with information will help you guide campers through the seven galleries. They’ll learn about Seminole and Cherokee cultures, see examples of Navajo weaving and basketry, and even a tipi. Educational guided tours, which can be tailored to your group’s age and interests include viewing a 10-minute orientation DVD and visiting the permanent collection and artifacts that can be touched, such as stone tools, birch bark, and pottery.
