Children's Museum of New Hampshire

Bring a world of hands-on learning and discovery to your students at The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. Curriculum connections abound through dynamic explorations in science, math, world cultures, the arts and New Hampshire history and ecology. The museum offers two group visit options, a self-guided Basic Group Visit, or a Focused Group Visit, which includes a curriculum-based activity related to one of the museum’s many exhibits, led by an experienced museum educator. Group visits must be scheduled in advance and are appropriate for students in preschool through 5th grade. Title 1 schools may be eligible for a subsidized visit to the Children's Museum. Please see the Museum InReach page under the Programs section on the website. The museum now offers the popular focused group visits for homeschoolers. Once a month on Tuesdays from 2-4:30pm, homeschool students ages 6-11 can sign up for a lesson led by museum educators followed by time to explore the museum. The education department provides a variety of lesson plans available for download.
