Baltimore Museum of Art

The Baltimore Museum of Art is home to an internationally renowned collection of 19th-century, modern, and contemporary art. Students will find an outstanding selection of American and European painting, sculpture, and decorative arts; prints and drawings from the 15th century to the present; works by established and emerging contemporary artists; exceptional objects from Africa and Asia; and an array of 20th-century sculpture. Friendly, knowledgeable gallery teachers will lead students on tours of discovery, helping them develop their visual and analytic skills through close observation and lively conversation. PreK-12th grade, university students, and their teachers can participate in engaging tour experiences with art that inspire creativity, foster critical thinking, and explore the human stories of art. All tours are led by trained docents.
