New York State

Everson Museum of Art

A major Central New York museum focusing on American art, the museum features a collection of nearly 700 works that span two centuries. The collection includes works by 19th century American artists, artists from the Hudson River School, and 1960s abstract expressionists, as well as video and sculpture. Explore the many dimensions of the Everson collection through three separate tours - a general tour, an architecture-based tour focused on the museum itself (which was built by I.M. Pei), and a tour that focuses on learning to think visually in order to better engage with the visual arts.
