Railroaders Memorial Museum

Learn about the important contributions that Altoona, Pennsylvania made to the nation’s transportation infrastructure and the industrial revolution. The museum’s three exhibit floors will teach groups about the life of railroaders, vintage train travel, and the Pennsylvania Railroad. The museum’s movie theater shows two railroad films every hour for groups to enjoy. Groups can also visit the Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark where groups can watch the trains travel around the curve and see a short film about its history.
