Erie Art Museum

This collection of over 8,000 objects, with a particular focus on American ceramics, Indian bronzes, baskets, and other sculptural art, is a great choice for a unique art-immersion experience. Educators tailor comprehensive tours to each group’s interest, offering lively and engaging programs to connect art of all mediums. Current programs include percussive dance as inspired by art for middle school aged groups, storytelling about art for preschoolers, and a high school aged group program that compares hip-hop to Mexican political illustrations from the 1800’s.
