Erie Zoo And Botanical Gardens

The Erie Zoo & Botanical Gardens encompass a comprehensive zoo with animal exhibits including African black-footed penguins, white rhinoceroses, Amur tigers, sacred Ibis, black and white ruffled lemurs, reticulated giraffes, North American river otters, Bornean orangutans, golden lion tamarins, jaguars, and many others! Groups can read fact sheets on the animal exhibits, visit the tropical Zoo Greenhouse, and tour the botanical gardens with programs such as Exploring Gardens by the Numbers. Many programs include a hands-on learning experience with a live animal.
