Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is part of the Presidential Library system administered by the National Archives and Records Administration, a Federal government agency. Tours and programs are offered from September through May. You can guide your class through the museum on your own from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Mondays and Fridays, and from 12:00 noon to 4:00pm Tuesday through Thursday. These tours do require a reservation if they include more than 10 students. Programs are offered include General Museum Tour, Presidents on the Money, Primed on the Presidency, and How a Bill Becomes a Law. Guided tours for school-aged groups are not offered during the summer. All school tour requests must be submitted via the online tour reservation form or in writing.
