Cape Cod Museum of Natural History

The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History contains two floors of exhibits on the flora and fauna of Cape Cod, including exhibits on whales, indigenous birds, and coastal change. Several aquariums hold different species of crustaceans, mollusks, fish, frogs, turtles, and snakes. Many of the displays are interactive, including a STEM-based interactive room. If you call in advance, you can also arrange for an interactive program tailored to the age of your group focusing on astronomy, insects, birds, snakes, bats, or whales. The museum also offers several trail walks, which run about 1 mile and are led by a guide.
