Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discovery Center

Groups can explore the science of climate and weather through fun, interactive exhibits like the air cannon, flow tank, and wind room. Thanks to the support of Mount Washington Observatory members and donors, admission is free. Class programs include Observing Mount Washington's Weather, Lightning Science and Safety, and Fundamentals of Climate. Group tours are available by advance arrangement, and the Center is happy to create a customized program that focuses on topics of interest to particular groups. Reserve the Weather Discovery Center just for your group with a camp-in, and experience everything in a fun, unhurried format.
