EcoTarium

The EcoTarium is a unique indoor-outdoor museum that offers a chance to walk through the treetops, take a thrilling multimedia journey through the galaxy, meet wildlife, stroll nature trails, and explore hands-on exhibits. Indoors, students can investigate a variety of science exhibits that examine the world around us, including Mount Washington, fresh and salt water habitats and New England’s forests. In the planetarium, they can have exciting educational experiences from astronomy to natural science. Outdoors they will discover nature firsthand, walk along the trails, see life around a pond, investigate local geology, walk through a forest, learn about meadows, meet bald eagles, red foxes, owls, a river otter, snakes, a porcupine, and other live animals. The museum also offers traveling programs, overnights, and more.
