Shelburne Museum

The Shelburne Museum has one of the finest collections of distinctly American art and architecture, including 25 historic buildings. Campers can view various folk art, quilts, designs, decoys, and carriages, as well as French Impressionist and 20th-century American paintings. Demonstrations of 20th-century blacksmithing practices, letterpress printing, and wool/linen processing are featured daily. The Webby's Art Studio and the Owl Cottage Activity Center offer hands-on activities, games, and books inspired by the exhibitions. The museum offers self-guided visits, and Passport to Learning, an exciting series of ten interactive workshops for students in grades K-8th.
