Hallockville Museum Farm

The museum’s focus is to re-connect the community with our shared agricultural heritage. The Farm is a working farmstead across 28 acres with over 250 years of history to explore. The Hallock Homestead program invites groups to engage hands-on with multiple aspects of farm life, such as churning butter, baking in an original wood-burning fireplace, learning to care for cows, and playing historical games. The Immigrant Farmer Experience program introduces groups to the world of turn-of-the-century Eastern European immigrants on Long Island, as they learn about Polish influence in the area.
