Hudson-Athens Lighthouse

Groups can learn about the fascinating history of the lighthouse (circa 1874), the way the lighthouse shaped the development of the upper Hudson River towns, and the important role it continues to play in aiding the navigation of the Hudson River. Groups will take a cruise on the Hudson to the lighthouse, and be met by tour guides. History around them will come alive with the recorded stories of Emily Brunner, the daughter of the lighthouse keeper, who lived in the lighthouse as a child.
