Brattleboro Museum & Arts Center

The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center presents art and ideas that inspire, educate, and engage its visitors. Students can view dynamic group shows, one-of-a-kind exhibits, art by local legends, and the work of international icons. BMAC’s friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteer docents ensure that your students will be inspired, surprised, and delighted by their visit. After a brief introduction to the museum, trained docents will engage students in inquiry-based discussion focused on specific works of art. The following activities are available to docent-led groups through June 21: Creativity With Shapes (K-1), Texture Collage (1-6), and Drawing Textures (4-6). The BMAC also offers volunteer docent and internship opportunities for adults and college students.
