Delaware Museum of Natural History

Encounter the wonders of the natural world through animal, habitat, dinosaur, bird, and invertebrate exhibits! On field trips, school groups get to explore relevant exhibits and use their reasoning and interpretive skills to understand the relationships between animals and their environment. Compare and contrast the adaptations of animals with those of humans, study how water can affect animal life, or solve problems in the large bird collection. Learn about how geology, energy, and motion make up the underlying habitat.  Outside displays and a curated nature trail allow groups to get in touch with the natural beauty and geological history of Delaware.
