African American Museum in Philadelphia

Experience the richness and vibrancy of African American heritage and culture on a tour through the historic Diaspora by way of artifacts, photos, sculptures and much more. Tours provide an overview of the museum’s exhibits and collections, including Audacious Freedom: African Americans in Philadelphia 1776-1876 and the Albert M. Greenfield African American Iconic Images Collection. The Learning through the Arts and AAMP programs hold workshops based in story-telling, music and history such as Early American Dance, Drum Circle, Mlanjeni Magical Theatre, and much more!
