Staten Island Zoo

Well-known for its reptile collection, the Staten Island Zoo covers about 8 acres and exhibits 330 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and tropical fish. The zoo offers a number of programs such as Animal Shapes and Colors, where your group will investigate how animals use patterns, shapes, and colors in nature to survive, then will meet animals that have shapes and colors for survival purposes. All programs include an intimate live animal presentation.
