Lake George Steamboat Company invites your students, scouts, and homeschool group to take a day cruise with us on Lake George, The Queen of American Lakes, in New York, undoubtedly the most beautiful lake in America. We offer a variety of cruises on our three large cruise ships. The Minne-Ha-Ha, an authentic Paddlewheeler will give your students and scouts a taste of travel from the past. The Mohican and the Lake's largest cruise ship, The Lac du Saint Sacrement, offer one-hour cruises to the only complete tour of historic and scenic Lake George. Our three large passenger vessels offer one-hour lakefront cruises, Paradise Bay trips, 65 mile Discovery cruises, Luncheon, Dinner, Taco, Mac ‘n Cheese, Pizza, Pasta and Fireworks Cruises, and our popular Dinner and a DJ Cruises. SCHOOLS
Students will learn all about Lake George on narrated cruises. On Narrows/Paradise Bay cruises aboard the Mohican, the captain will describe the islands of the Narrows as well as the history, geology, and ecology of Lake George as students view the picturesque Adirondack Mountains and Paradise Bay. Lakefront cruises allow students to sail on the Mohican or Lac du Saint Sacrement as they take in the spring or fall landscapes of Lake George while learning about the Queen of American Lakes. Groups will discover sites along the southern half of Lake George on the paddlewheel cruise aboard the Minne-Ha-Ha. The Full Lake Cruise on the Mohican takes groups on a complete tour of Lake George, where the captain will explain the lake’s geology, early Indian settlements, and more.
