Abbe Museum

Your class will learn about Maine’s Native peoples—the Wabanaki tribes, including the Maliseet, Micmac, Penobscot, and Passamaquoddy—through displays and interactive activities at the Abbe Museums. With two locations in Bar Harbor, students won’t run out of things to see! The museums have more than 50,000 objects—from stone tools to ceramics and instruments—representing 10,000 years of culture and history.
