Montshire Museum of Science

The Montshire Museum of Science is an award-winning science center with over 140 exhibits relating to the natural and physical sciences. Students can participate in daily activities like helping to give leafcutter ants their leaves, or experimenting with magnets. Outside they can manipulate the movement of water in the Science Park, or explore the Woodland Garden. A school group visit also allows students to schedule a hands-on workshop. Examples of workshop topics include ecology, biology, animal tracks, clouds, astronomy, and engineering. Scouts and others can camp-in for a night at the museum that includes fun workshops and a morning nature hike.
