Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium

Home to over 175,000 objects, the Fairbanks Museum aims to create lifelong naturalists with exhibits focused on the Great Northern Forest and a planetarium for exploring the cosmos. At the Wildflower Table, campers can see diverse native flowers, grasses, berries, ferns, and evergreens. The fascinating OmniGlobe shows the Earth’s natural and political landscape and the surface of each planet. In the Naturalists Corner, campers are invited to bring in bugs, rocks, bones, and plants to learn about various species in their own neighborhoods. The planetarium will expose your group to the stars, constellations, moon, and planets.
